An Announcement

Dear Friends and Patrons,

First, I want to say a huge thank you to each of you for supporting me by coming to classes, reading my blog, telling your friends about my business, voting for me in the birth awards, cheering me on and much more. I am so grateful for every bit of it.

It has been very hard to make the decision to close Austin Stroller Fitness but it is time. I am returning to my roots of yoga and yoga therapy. This year I am starting a yoga teacher training program and it requires such an incredible amount of time and energy to get it organized and off the ground. So, that means I have much less time to focus on running another business. It is so important to me to always give my all to what I am doing and that cannot happen with me doing so much right now.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I hope our paths cross again in the future.

3 rounds of 15 second Plank (twice on each side)
2 rounds of Walking Plank
10 rounds of Low plank to Dolphin Pose and back to Low Plank
One minute Down Dog

Today is a good day to push yourself that extra little bit beige the indulgences begin tomorrow.

Start with a one minute Downward Facing Dog to warm up.

2 20 second Boat Poses
20 second Low Plank
30 second High Plank
2 rounds of Walking Plank
2 more rounds of 20 second Boat
20 rounds of supine toe taps
10 rounds of Low Plank to Dolphin Pose back to Low Plank
30 Crunches
30 second Plank with alternating heel lifts
20 more rounds of alternating toe taps

Finish with one minute Down Dog

November Abs Challenge Day 23

It finally feels like winter here in Texas. It is cold, windy and rainy today. We Texans don’t love this kind of weather and use a day like today to stay inside, nap, read and have some family time.

That being said I am going to declare today our rest day this week.

Instead of doing nothing physical though I recommend doing an all over body yoga posture like Down Dog. Try doing multiple rounds gradually increasing the duration.

For example you can try this variation or change it to suit your needs:
Round 1 20 seconds
Round 2 40 seconds
Round 3 60 seconds
Round 4 90 seconds
Round 5 2 minutes

Be sure to follow with a bit of stretching and lots of hydrating.
